Live event

  • Able to facilitate load-ins/out and coordinate backlineing with artists
  • Microphone placement for vocals and instruments
  • Sound system operation and maintenance, including mixers, power amps, mains, monitors, subwoofers, DI boxes and a variety of microphones and cables
  • Mixing for room acoustics and artist preference
  • Friendly, positive attitude, especially during inevitable day-of challenges
  • Familiar with light-plotting basics and fader automation

Studio

  • Competent with variety of recording equipment, including audio interfaces and pre-amps, rack-effects units, microphones, MIDI controllers, instrument amplifiers, power supplies, and monitoring systems
  • Advanced DAW user (Presonus StudioOne and Adobe Audition)
  • Experience recording, mixing and mastering full-band sessions
